Oriental Interiors and Design by Stuart Harrison

Globally Inspired, Locally Rooted

With over a decade living in Marrakech and decades of world travel—particularly through the Far East—Stuart Harrison brings a distinctive global perspective to every design project. A former finance professional, Stuart fell in love with the Red City during a holiday ten years ago, prompting a shift from corporate life to his passion for art, antiques, and design.

Since settling in Marrakech, Stuart has developed deep, long-standing relationships with the city’s most respected antique traders, especially within the renowned Bab El Khemis markets. Combined with years of travel, from Kathmandu to Yangon, his network offers unrivalled access to rare and authentic pieces that bring soul and character to every space.

Stuart works closely with homeowners to help define their vision, sourcing exceptional objects and artworks that reflect both personal taste and the rich heritage of Moroccan design. His creations balance elegance, authenticity, and lived-in warmth — resulting in spaces that feel effortlessly curated and inspiring.

“My aim is to create a wonderful, relaxing, and inspiring space that gives you many happy memories — a sanctuary amidst the chaos and energy of Marrakech.”

This richly layered Marrakech interior blends antique treasures from Bab El Khemis with Asian-inspired accents, all anchored by a hand-carved ceiling and traditional zellige tile floor. Thoughtfully curated by our in-house designer, the space balances old-world charm with contemporary comfort—creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
